Description
Our client, a well-known Fortune 500 company in a Northeast suburb of Cleveland, is looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer to organize, and edit technical documentation to support the IT Service Desk knowledge base. Previous technical writing and techincal editing experience is highly desired, as well as working proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Daily Responsibilities:
-Converting/formatting existing technical documents for support on the service desk (formatting data, etc.)
-Categorizing technical documents in the knowledge base
-Editing, formatting, and wordsmithing technical documents
-Perform technical review of documents to ensure consistent form, format, and readability
-Identify inconsistency in document content and detail
-Update documents to ensure consistency in content and detail level
-Provide Document conversion to standardized templates

Required:
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong Technical Writing experience
- Extensive Technical Editing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc)
- Excellent proofreading and editing kills

- HelpDesk experience (or writing Knowledge Base Articles for HelpDesk)
