PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Currently looking for a Physical Design Engineer to take on a 6 month remote contract (intention to extend)!
This is for a globally leading telecommunications business based in Cambridge and would suit someone with solid mixed signal SOC, IR Drop Analysis and Innovus experience.
PROJECT
- Implementation/floorplanning for low powered chips
- Place & route and clock tree design
- Physical and timing closure
- Running place and route tools
- Achieving timing closure through STA runs
- Building clock trees, providing feedback for design changes to improve physical results
- Cleaning up routing and any LVS/DRC problems
SKILLS
This would suit someone with a solid understanding of design flows such as floor planning, placement optimization, clock tree synthesis, routing, crosstalk avoidance and physical verification;
- Previously used Innovus
- Mixed Signal SOC
- IR Drop Analysis
- PrimeTime or Redhawk
