A well experienced System Engineer (Linux/Cloud Experienced) is required to join our globally known financial services client at their office in Warsaw.
Management of physical and virtual Windows Servers
Management of Cloud services for Windows Servers (Azure & Google Cloud)
v Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 20xx
v Expertise in Microsoft Windows HPC Pack 20xx
v Expert knowledge of Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL
v Expertise in Microsoft Windows Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
v Development of node-images and deployment-templates
v Expertise in Microsoft Windows Cluster Service
v Design of deployment solutions based on Microsoft Windows and Multicast-
v Networking
System Integration: Automated development and deployment of infrastructure and
application environments using continuous integration tools:
Mandatory: Ansible, PowerShell, VBScript
Beneficial: Python, cmd, SQL
Fully automated application package-based deployments. Via unattended via multienvironmental staged services (UAT sign off before PROD).
Software deployment is adhered to the UCS standard process, including change & SIM .
Creation of installation documentation per application.
Responsibility for OS hotfixes and major server releases
3rd level support for software deployment (PreProduction and Production environment)
Responsible for software release builds. Supervision of change related topics (tasks and documentation)
Project post Go Live Incident and Problem Resolution
Performance tuning and problem analysis for Windows- and HPC server solutions
Network performance analysis and optimization on Windows systems
Project consulting and change support with respect to hardware technologies
Application integration and migration to new hardware and OS versions
Know-How of continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and Git
Expertise with backup software TSM
Monitoring integration with Tivoli
Deploying high-availability solutions, failover and DR concepts
