Description: On-site engineering support for long term evolution ( LTE ) and ( VoLTE ) core related projects (collectively Services ) including:
Providing one (1) Cellular engineer responsible for various activities including:
Providing setup and maintenance of lab testbed topology including bring-up new RAN-related access systems (eg, evolved node B ( eNodeB ) and core systems (eg, evolved packet core ( EPC )
Providing testing and validation of features such as mobility management, handoffs, roaming architecture, circuit switch fallback ( CSFB ), Voice Over long-term evolution ( VoLTE ) and troubleshooting of various 3rd Generation Partnership Project ( 3GPP ) core interfaces such as S1, SWx, Gx/Gy, S6a.
Providing execution of test cases according to defined test plans including:
i. Troubleshooting issues, file bugs and observation and record results as set forth in the test plan. ii. Documenting block diagrams, network diagrams, method of procedures ( MOPs ). i. Documenting test results and preparing output reports in a presentable format.
Providing end to end call flow validation and participate in new software features verification testing
Engaging with XFN partners to fix and validate reported issues, provide logs, find workarounds including:
Providing assistance and support in the preparation of lab and field trials with XFN partners to include bill of material, setup and validation and acceptance testing.
Additional Notes: Resource must have strong knowledge of wireless protocol stack, LTE, LTE-Advanced, 5GNR, performance validation tools such as iperf, IXIA, Spirent etc. and understanding of Linux and Linux tool
