Contract Devops Engineer - Cloudera Hadoop Administrator
Consultancy role - Travel Expected - Currently HOME Based
up to £575 a day plus expenses - Initial 6 Month Contract, extensions Expected.
We are working with a UK Consultancy who are urgently looking for a Devops Engineer with strong Cloudera Admin experience to join the team leading the implementation of Big Data solutions supporting a large scale digital transformation programme.
Required experience and skills:
- experience in Cloudera implementations
- experience in assisting DevOps solutions supporting Big Data programmes utilising wide range of technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- experience in cloud based, multi-tenant, federated architecture
- good knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop distribution
- CCA administrator certification will be beneficial
- any experience with Hortonworks will be an advantage
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Mandatory tools:
- Puppet and Terraform,Cloudera, AWS, Azure
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GITLAB, Docker, Kuberentes
- Other tools: Packer, Ansible
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Scripting: python, Shell script, Java
You must be SC Cleared or clearable
This is an Urgent requirement so immediate start is preferred. In return the client will offer a starting day rate of at least £575 for 6 months (Outside IR35)
