IR35 Commercial Practitioner/IR35 Specialist- Corporate Services- IR35 Risk Reduction/IR35 Legislative Advice/Off-Payroll- 3 Month Contract Role Initially- Remote working initially- Newport, Wales based client.
SmartSourcing are currently recruiting for an IR35 Specialist to work within a prestigious Commercial Services team within one of our most long standing clients.
Paying 27 pounds per hour- will be out of scope of IR35
Please note that due to COVID- 19 safety regulations, this client has authorised remote working for the foreseeable future.
The successful will be responsible for the identification, quantification and mitigation of risks relating to IR35.
Looking for someone who can take a proactive approach building excellent relationships with managers to ensure that any risks identified are mitigated and plans are developed for the ongoing management of contingent labour to reduce IR35 related risks.
The post holder will undertake a series of activities to improve oganisational processes and procedures for managing risks associated with IR35.
Duties will include-
- reassessment of c. 300 current contractors in conjunction with hiring managers, advising hiring managers on the impact of the assessment and the optimal methods for managing contractors to keep them outside IR35
-Reporting - A report detailing
ot he degree to which original assessments remain valid
o a summary of the residual risk
o a proposal for addressing any instances where the assessment varies from the original outcome
-A further report with recommendations on how to implement improved controls and minimise risks relating to IR35 ongoing
What we are looking for in a candidate-
-Have an excellent understanding of IR35 legislation
-Have demonstrable experience of sourcing contingent labour in a public sector organisation and managing IR35 related risk
-Are expert in effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, producing clear advice and influence on complex legislative issues.
-Have extensive experience of writing persuasive formal reports in accordance with organisational governance including risk reports
