Description
Experience Unix Administrator with Fluent French language skills required to join a banking client, onsite in Luxembourg.
Rate: 500 Euros per day
The Project:
- Setup banking applications, web or not, platform migration, upgrades
- System: increasing file system, patching OS, upgrading AIX/RHEL, upgrading applications, installing third-party tools, writing scripts, setting up backup, configuring Nagios monitoring, daily maintenance of systems, securing systems, maintenance of banking applications/Middleware.
You will be required to manage:
- 250 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 - 7 (virtualized at 90%).
- Power Servers: AIX 7 using PowerVM/VIO (NPIV, SEA), with around 100 partitions managed with NIM, hosting applications and databases (Oracle, WebSphere Application Server, IBM Spectrum Protect, XFB Gateway, Swift).
- Open storage
Required skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role with the same OS/applications/DB, with a focus on AIX and RHEL
- Versatility, autonomy and communication (be proactive and get the needed information across to colleagues), riguour (tests, change management, deployments, documentation)
- Stress resistance (critical financial services, strict SLA, demanding users)
