We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a Global Consultancy who require a Application Architect for oen of their clients based in Ispra, Italy
Duration: Long-term Contract (annually renewable)
Description:
- Data catalogue infrastructure maintenance/developments and the development and deployment of a new client's data repository
- The candidate will be involved in the Back End infrastructure of a public tool that is used, which is currently under reconstruction.
- A scientific data handling framework, which will be adopted for use and linked to the existing infrastructure.
- The consultant will participate in the system customization ie both Back End and Front End.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a strong software engineer with a proven experience to write/debug and maintain the project code base, Able to provide some demo work examples eg existing web/mobile/desktop apps.
- Master's Degree with 9-13 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 13-17 years of experience is required.
- Experience with OOP, SW architectural patterns, design and use of services/APIs.
- Strong knowledge of and extensive experience with Python or Java or .NET.
- Strong knowledge of and extensive experience with JavaScript.
- Experience with test frameworks.
- Knowledge of and experience with linked data would be an asset.
- Knowledge of and experience with Java would be an asset.
- Knowledge of and experience with Docker would be an asset.
- Experience with semantic web technologies would be an asset.
- Strong analytical skills & Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
