Security Engineer - Arcsight - £500 - £550 per day - 5 months + - Work from home initially.

We are a seeking a Security Engineer with strong Arcsight experience for a Major Stock Exchange based in The City, we are seeking a 'hands on' technical security engineer with broad experience delivering and implementing security solutions across a range of technologies including SIEM and Identity and Access Management - ideally in Arcsight

The ideal candidate will have strong Arcsight and ideally CyberArk and McAfee, a strong technical security allrounder who can take ownership of delivering Security solutions from initial design through to delivery and passing to production.

Key projects and technologies include delivery of and upgrades to a multitude of applications, project work will include architecture upgrades, multifactor authentication, orchestration and automation.

Role - Work from home initially - 1-2 days a week from Sept/Oct.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead the implementation of a range of Technical Security projects across Arcsight with CyberArk and McAfee highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in SIEM/Identity and Access Management.
  • Maintain security technical engineering standards to meet information security policies and controls, industry standards and best practices, applicable legislative and regulatory requirements;
  • Complete Low Level Designs and other relevant artefact's required by project life cycle;
  • Support engineering colleagues to deliver secure configurations for technology implemented;
  • Support test and assurance activities and completion of operational acceptance processes;
  • Troubleshooting implementation and production security issues;
Essential skills/experience required:
  • Strong ArcSight experience.
  • Strong experience in SIEM/Identity and Access Management.
  • Skills in CyberArk and McAfee highly desirable.
  • Understanding and experience with Network/Application/Infrastructure security.
Beneficial skills/experience required:
  • Openshift/Kubernetes
  • Qualys.
  • McAfee Antivirus.
  • Scripting and automation tools as well as general knowledge of patch management and security products.
  • Penetration and vulnerability testing tools and techniques
  • Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols
  • Secure coding practices, ethical hacking and threat modelling
  • Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
  • Virtualization technologies
  • MySQL/MSSQL database platforms
  • Identity and access management
  • Application security principles
  • Secure network architectures and technologies
  • Network and web related protocols (eg, TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols, etc)
  • SIEM
