Description
We are looking for a Data Architect with experience in IOT as well as in the Azure Data environment. For this role you must also be fluent in French and/or Dutch. Our client is a large organisation in Brussels, leading in its sector.
Your role will consist in defining the architecture and contribute to the implementation of the Azure data platform to support IoT data ingestion, preparation, integration and consumption IoT data will be provided by Waylay platform.
Objectives of the job:
- Define the architecture and design of the Azure data platform required to ingest and process data coming from Waylay IoT platform
- Take part to the implementation of o the integration between Waylay and the data environment in Azure o the integration of other data sources with the data environment
- Define and put in place the different components of the data platform in collaboration with other technical team members
- Scan market of available tools and propose options depending on requirements and company standards
- Design of the main data pipes to support use cases,
- Look for/propose automation tools and technical process improvements,
- Take part to PaaS governance improvement,
- Coaching/support of a few internal resources,
- Documentation of the architecture, guidelines and principles,
- Provide guidance on some technologies like IoT standards and protocols, Azure event streaming...
The role will be based on site once the restriction are lifted, remote will be accepted at the beginning.
