Network Security Engineer - Contract/Freelance - Leiden
Square One are looking for a Network Security Engineer to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Leiden.
This is an initial 6 month contract, paying market rates.
Due to the nature of this role, local candidates are preferred.

The role/skill set:
* Experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewall (provisioning, general support/operations (patching, troubleshooting, etc.), good understanding of the current technology, able to participate/join internal projects)
* Experience with automation of Firewall provisioning is a strong asset
* Implementing, managing and maintaining security and network infrastructure for medium/large scale enterprise, including hardware/software Firewalls and monitoring systems
* Knowledge in protocols, distributed technology, web technology standards (TCP-based protocols, Web technologies, Docker (or other container technologies, security technologies (ie PKI, AES, TLS) are a strong asset.
Desireable:
* Experience with DNS (BIND, Nominum and Infoblox)
* Scripting, integration, development knowledge and automation tools/framework (Python/Angular/JavaScript/Java J2EE/Derby/Eclypse & CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/GIT)
