Unix Administrator - Linux Administrator
We are looking for an enthusiastic Linux Administrator to work on a long term project for a major telecommunications organisatsion in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years Linux administration with experience with various Scripting languages such as Bash, Perl or Python
Requirements:
- At least 3 years Linux administration experience (RedHat or Centos or Fedora)
- Some Scripting experience (bash, ksh, Perl or python)
- Knowledge on protocols: HTTP, DNS, NTP, SMTP
- Basic knowledge networking (OSI model)
- Happy to work on a shift/rota basis
Nice to have:
- Experience working with tools such as SVN, GIT, Samba, Satellite, Kickstart
- Working experience of MySQL and/or postgres
- Nagios/Icinga2 knowledge or any other similar monitoring tool
- Solaris/ZFS/Zones
- Vmware knowledge
- ITIL knowledge
- Any automated configuration management tool like puppet, cfengine, ansible
