SAP MDG and Data Design expert - Material

An excellent opportunity to join a leading international client in Europe on a minimum 3 month contract with opportunity to extend. New S/4 Hana deployment to UK and Poland with rollout to the rest of Europe after. The purpose of this role is to lead the SAP MDG Material data processes and solution design & implementation and Material data conversion support as part of Europe template deployment.
- Reports to the project SAP Data lead
- Works closely with project IT and Business teams from Production Planning/Plant Maintenance, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay streams
- Partners with SAP Global Template teams
- Partners with external vendors and partners
- Partners and closely collaborates with other functional value stream teams
Deliverables:
- SAP MDG and Data Design expert for Material data will be responsible for functional delivery of Material master data requirements within the extent of Data Conversions, Master Data Governance (MDG), and across other related solutions.
- Partner with the SAP MDG functional leads and specialists to translate Material data business process requirements into flexible functional and technical solution.
- Partner with Data Conversion team to ensure Material and related master data migration plan and approach is in place, support Legacy mapping, data quality rules design, data validation and testing.
- Provide SAP S/4 Material master data process documentation to SAP Master Data Governance team.
