Web content designer - 6 Month contractLocal Government - INSIDE IR35

My client is a Local Authority bases in London who are currently looking for a Web content designer for a 6 month assignment.
The role is to Undertake a swift review of the post-16 content on the Client's website, prioritising changes to make to meet the needs of the upcoming post-16 cohort (applicants, schools and colleges).
To include review of other boroughs' provision and information services as well as reviewing content to make sure it's accurate, relevant, accessible and written in line with GOV.UK style
Make key agreed changes in partnership with the Client's digital, comms and education teams, in time for GCSE results on 10th August.
Longer term Set a content strategy and plan for the future of the post-16 web content, in a way that aligns with the client's digital strategy and style, as well as clearly meeting user need.
Agree vision and plan with subject matter experts from the post-16 team, in collaboration with user researchers Work with the digital team as they explore a new web platform and explore whether this would make an appropriate home for post-16 provision Implement agreed changes, building out an entirely new post-16 website to help the borough achieves its aims with clear, usable and accessible content in plain English
To be considered, You must have experience of designing content in line with GOV.UK regulations and proposed style.
You will take full responsibility for the quality of the content on the website Writing and fulfilling user stories by engaging with residents and internal experts
Ensure that duties are undertaken with due regard and compliance with the Data Protection Act and other legislation.
