C++ APEX Martini Developer - Investment Banking
C++ APEX Martini Developer required to work on this bank's Deal Capture system. If you do not have APEX Martini you must have very strong C++ in ideally Repos trading. Role is also responsible for support, maintenance and enhancements to the interfaces with Apex (Martini old application rebranded) (for Repo Trading).
Main responsibilities - design and develop new pieces of software, enhancing existing software to provide new functionality requested by the business and to correct bugs. In the lead up to a major release, developers are expected to get involved fixing regression bugs, and automated regression testing.
Technical environment for which C++ And APEX are essential and C# is a nice to have is:-
- C++ (Visual Studio 2015) and C#.NET 4.6.1 in a Windows environment (20% C#)
- FIS APEX Toolkit (former Sungard Martini)
- CppUnit for unit testing
- Python and Robot for automated regression testing
- Oracle 12c, SQL and stored procedures
- STL and Boost
- SVN
- XML/FiML/SQL/MQ (Messaging)
Essential skills
- Excellent C++/Windows
- STL/XML
- SQL on a relational database
