Guardian Industries is seeking you to become our next Production Operator in Richburg, South Carolina!
A Day In The Life Typically Includes
- Operate various glass IG manufacturing pieces of equipment in a safe manner, while meeting production goals.
- Operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the production line
- Understand and follow plant safety rules, and work safely at all times
- Perform manual labor
- Operate a forklift and crane
- Operate hand held power tools
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with Company standards
- Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing quality checks
- Maintain reliable attendance
What You Will Need?
- Machine Operator experience preferred, but willing to train safety-minded individuals.
- This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching, as well as standing and walking on concrete floors wearing steel-toed shoes for long periods at a time.
- Demonstrated ability to be detail, safety, and quality oriented.
- Proven communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated track record of dependability, initiative, and a positive attitude toward co-workers and the job
- Proven track record of being self-motivated and a quick learner.
- Availability to work overtime.
- Demonstrated understanding of units of measure and be able to perform general mathematical equations.
- Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
