Cloud Engineer - Python - AWS - DevOps*Must be via an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company, however the client will cover Employer's NI*
Our client, a leading financial services firm, are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This will be joining a brand-new DevOps team responsible for supporting multiple cloud-based services across the organization.
You will have hands-on experience with AWS and be comfortable with Python, as well as, at least one other development language. You will also have experience of creating and managing continuous delivery pipelines.
The position requires a strong self-starter with a solid technical engineering background and influencing skills, who can lead the way, assist development teams with architecture, design decisions, coding, troubleshooting and any other technical issues related to implementation of a customer facing proposition.
Experience required:
- Experience working with several cloud-based technologies (one of which must be AWS)
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience building good quality code - smoke/integration tests, APIs
- Ideally, you will have previous experience in a DevOps environment
- Strong experience creating & managing delivery pipelines
- Previous experience in financial services would be preferred
