Description

We're looking for a C# .NET Developer to work with our large consultancy client. The work requires hands on senior level experience in building robust, scalable applications using C# .NET and associated tech stacks.

Location: Remote.

Initial Statement of Work:

The initial statement of work will include:

  • Own feature delivery through to production
  • Implement appropriate automated checks using the existing tool kit
  • Submit all code through appropriate code review processes (Git)
  • Provide code reviews where required for other team members
  • Support application release cycles by executing Back End automated checks, debugging and analysing the results utilising the existing toolkits

Suppliers will demonstrate the following technical capabilities as part of their application:

C# .NET, MVC, Razor, Nuget, RESTful services, JSON

  • Testing and automating web applications (unit, integration etc)
  • Experience of building accessible web applications
  • Experience of managing complex dependencies including implementing vulnerability management
  • Significant experience of managing test data automatically across multiple complex applications.
  • Experience debugging and investigating applications using things like the ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana), AppDynamics/Zabbix and Azure insights.
  • Experience of working in a Continuous Integration environment, using Git.

Suppliers with the following additional technical skills will be at an advantage:

  • Experience of working in a Continuous Delivery or Deployment environment.
  • Experience of working in a DevOps environment using Azure and Jenkins.

Cultural fit:

Suppliers should demonstrate the following skills:

  • Experience of working in an agile or DevOps environment.

Visa Requirements:

Supplier staff must have an existing right to work in the UK; no offshore applicants will be considered.

Clearance Requirements:

Supplier staff must be able to achieve BPSS

Rates:
£pd depending on proposals.

Starting: ASAP.

IR35 status:

These statements of work are outside of IR35. As such, suppliers are expected to provide their own equipment, licenses and bear all expenses (travel, accommodation etc) associated with fulfilling the issued statement of work. Suppliers will require appropriate indemnity, employers and legal insurance cover.

Duration: Initially until Christmas 2020.
