WebSphere Application Server Specialist - SC Cleared
Whitehall Resources require a WebSphere Application Server Specialist with active security clearance to work with a client based in Hampshire.
*Please note that this role has been deemed as Inside IR35*
Role description:
Install, configure, secure and maintain Application Servers (both Open Source and IBM propriety) as well as 3rd party COTS applications installed on those Servers. This will involve creating reproducible, automated builds in a Linux environment.
Essential skills and experience:
WebSphere MQ 6/7, Proprietary application Servers such as IBM WAS 8.5, WebSphere Liberty.
Desirable skills and experience:
RedHat Enterprise Linux, bash Scripting, analytics experience, WebSphere Message broker, IIB 10, Shell Scripting, Container and virtualisation technology familiarity.Open Source application Servers (such as JBoss, Tomcat, TomEE, Geronimo)
