Description
We are looking for experienced Cloud Networking and Network Automation Architect.
The successful candidate will be joining a growing Practice and will be expected to help develop approaches, products and solutions. Based on this the candidate must have the following:
Good understanding of the varying technologies, platforms and operational models, from a networking perspective relating to Software Defined technologies (DC, Campus, SD-WAN) and Automation and solutions.
Experience in driving requirements workshops to understand the customer business and operational outcomes.
Excellent customer facing skills including senior stake holder management
Able to effectively deal with difficult discussions to balance out the interests of the customer with the interests of Computacenter
Owning the structure and delivery of technical design workshops ensuring the required outcome is delivered and the results captured
Producing high- and low-level designs for network projects, including Cisco DC routing and switching (including ACI expertise), automated campus networks (ie Cisco SDA, Aruba Mobile First), application load balancing using F5 platforms
Understand and design for hybrid DC models: on-prem and cloud connectivity and operation.
Demonstrable hands-on expertise in delivering network solutions: Cisco ACI, Cisco SDA, F5 LTM/GTM, VMWare NSX
Managing of 3rd parties and their deliverables to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions
The candidate must also have the following:
Good knowledge and experience of traditional network technologies:
o DC routing and switching
- Cisco, Arista o LAN Switching
- Cisco, Meraki, Aruba o Wireless LAN
- Cisco, Meraki, Aruba o F5 LTM/GTM
Project experience in the following SDN technologies, key technologies for Computacenter are:
o Cisco ACI (mandatory)
o VMware NSX-V and NSX-T (highly desirable)
o SD-WAN (highly desirable)
- Cisco Viptela, VMWare Velocloud, Meraki Native
Desirable experience of automation tooling:
o Red Hat Ansible
o Python
o NetBrain
Familiarity with one of the following:
o Amazon Web Services
o Microsoft Azure
o Google Cloud Platform
The successful candidate must also have at least 8 years' experience in classic networking technologies; with accreditations in at least two of the following:
Mandatory
Cisco Systems
o CCNP minimum (Full CCIE desirable)
o ACI Certified Desirable
Arista Networks
