The Microsoft 365 project requires an experienced person for the role of Business Change Manager to proactively prepare staff for the changes that are being delivered by the Microsoft 365 Project, in particular the move to TEAMS. The resource must understand business change and benefits across a complex project such as Microsoft 365, and MUST have experience of a TEAMs implementation. Microsoft have advised that delivering TEAMs technically will be relatively straightforward. However, the Business change element and communication with users, applying the best approach to carry this out is an area we are lacking in experience. Microsoft made it clear this is a key area required to make the delivery successful. This role is even more critical especially whilst remote working and staff being heavily dependent on Skype which will be replaced by TEAMS. In 2021 we will be implementing TEAMS & Channels, and this will impact significantly on the way staff work and interact with other Microsoft features such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange to name a few
TYPICAL ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply a Business Change Management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project.
Develop a Business Change and Engagement plan for a phased deployment of Microsoft TEAMs and other features within Microsoft 365 within our organisation. Integrate activities into the project plan and lead change management activities
Create and manage a Stakeholder Communication plan in alignment with the Project Roadmap. Identify and manage key Business stakeholders, defining roles where necessary eg IT Champions/super users
Create a training plan that utilises existing Microsoft Training courses and resources, including documenting requirements and support the design and delivery of a training program
Assess the Business change impact - including accessibility - and conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness with key stakeholders. Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Track and report Business Change issues
Create a Vision and success criteria for the deployment of Microsoft Team. Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Manage and drive the change deployment at varies levels of the organisation of Microsoft 365 products. Responsible for successful adoption of new Microsoft tools and features across organisation
Skills and experience
- Microsoft 365 Business Change - Managing user adoption for Microsoft 365 from Cradle to grave deployment
- Microsoft TEAMS Business Change - Managing user adoption Microsoft TEAMS from Cradle to grave deployment
- Experienced in Stakeholder management
- Communications to the wider business
- Managing, Monitoring & Reporting the Impact to organisation
- Experience in supporting and implementing Training to underpin the business change
