Data Lead

Development Opportunities:
• As a subject matter expert on Customer (HCP/HCO/Payer), Product and Roster & Alignment data management
• processes, you will serve the data strategy needs or questions arising from the business and will be responsible for pull-through of the strategy and governance model
• As the data lead, you will forge strong relationships with leads across the organization to report/inform, gain alignment, unlock & resolve complex business challenges, and influence future strategy
Qualifications and Experience that will help you to be successful:
• Bachelor's Degree (computer science, engineering or other technical disciplines are a plus)
• MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred
• +5 years of previous experience with pharmaceutical/biotechnology data and knowledge of key data assets and providers
• Experience in master data management, data governance, acquisition and/or strategy
• Experience managing data projects and data vendors in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of commercial data sources & tools; proactively identify novel, effective ways to apply the knowledge to achieve business objectives
• Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
• Previous experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry is strongly
• preferred, e.g., commercial operations, field sales or sales management, field sales operations, field account management, product marketing, market planning, strategic planning, etc.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
• Ability, comfort & commitment in/to operating in a highly regulated environment and industry, which requires an understanding of the imperative for compliance with company policies, procedures, and other relevant internal or external laws, regulations and the like
• Demonstrable project management skills: proven ability to manage multiple tasks to the conclusion, on time, and without compromise to the quality of work output
• Good presentation skills
• Strong analytical capabilities and skills, including business and financial acumen sufficient for analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, as well as the ability to extrapolate meaning from such analyses
• Strong orientation to teamwork and customer service
Excellent problem-solving skills, details oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership
Preference to have local language fluency depending on the Squad of assignment
Must demonstrate knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, business information systems, databases and business analytics relevant to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries
Flexibility to attend meetings outside “standard” working hours
