Our client, a central government body are seeking a Head of Assurance for an initial 4 month contract, remote working with some visits to the London office.

SC Is Required

Head of Assurance:
The Head of Assurance Will sit on top of all the activity, so the candidate should have at least a couple of years in assurance environment and experience in assuring portfolios. Portfolio will be large - looking for a portfolio assurance person with a background in Project delivery. Somebody who is used to dealing with directors and govt director generals. Because of the nature of this they are looking for Central Government experience.

1) Large Project Delivery experience
2) Portfolio Assurance experience. Minimum of a couple of years of assurance of large portfolios
3) Govt experience To be responsible for auditing and ensuring the quality of the services delivered.

Ensuring the audit of management information and other products delivered against the SLAs and contractual requirements.

Acting as a point of escalation for major issues and service incidents and managing major incident related communications with the business and back to any partner organisations.

Communications will include notification of service outages and planned maintenance.

To lead the team providing direction to develop service improvement and enhancement plans, to assure delivery of services. Ensuring that problem reviews are carried out, including the assessment of business impact, and approving non-standard and exceptional service requests.

Leading the team auditing and assuring the performance measurement frameworks, monitoring service performance, capacity and availability across the end to end model.
