We are looking for 2 Wintel Engineers to work for the world's leading independent, end-to-end IT services company, helping clients harness the power of innovation to thrive on change.

Role Summary

We are currently hiring experienced Wintel Engineers to work on a very exciting digital transformation programme. All of the Wintel Engineers require good analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to own and run issues from start to resolution as well as being able to work on both project and BAU based work.

The successful candidates will also have experience building and managing Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012 server environments as well as using VMWare Management interfaces, managing Active Directory (2008 & 2012) and administering domain controllers.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software Incidents/problems
  • Install, maintain and support new applications and Infrastructure
  • Testing/Evaluating and implementation of new technology
  • Keep up to date with advancements in technology
  • Review of services, application delivery, patching and Anti-Virus

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • VMware infrastructure v6/6.5 onwards - configuration/maintenance/upgrades/VSan/NSX and VMware Site Recovery Manager
  • Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop v7 onwards
  • Strong knowledge of ADFS, SSL Certificates. O365 and associated technologies such as Azure AD/AAD Connect
  • Strong knowledge of Powershell - Scripting, PowerCLI - focus on automation
  • Hyper-V v2/v3
  • Strong knowledge of SCCM/SCOM/SCDPM/SOE
  • Ability to Manage Large scaled Active Directory infrastructure

The candidate must be Security Cleared.
