Debt Process Improvement Specialist

6 months initially Remote

Essential

  • Good knowledge of debt collection and dunning activities within Utilities
  • Experience working with collection processes, including outsourced operations with third party debt collection agencies
  • Knowledge of litigation processes
  • A strong knowledge of collections guidelines including FCA and GDPR.
  • Certified experience of Lean Six Sigma delivery (LCS1a and/or Yellow Belt) certified
  • Evidence of delivering structured problem solving and step change improvements in a collections context
  • Strong communication skills in email, presentation and verbal
  • Strong ability to validate and interrogate multiple data sources to make insight driven conclusions
  • Experience in working in virtual teams and stakeholder management- both in house and outsourced
  • Strong planning and self-management capability.

Desirable

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or LCS 1b/c
  • Experience in facilitation and collaborative decision making cross functional teams.
  • Project Management experience/accreditation (eg PRINCE2)
  • Commercial awareness
