Microsoft Azure Data Lake Architect (DataBricks, Azure DevOps)
Contract - Belgium - ASAP Start - €600 PER DAY
Azure Architect needed to help define the requirements for teams across IT Infrastructure, Data Science and Data Collection to help them implement the new Azure Data Platform. The chosen Architect will support the roll-out of new Data Architecture, enhanced documentation, data governance, and structured processes
Proven experience with the following Microsoft technologies would be key:
Databricks, Data Lake Gen2, SQL Server PaaS solutions (SQL Database, Hyperscale, Managed instance), Azure Synapse, Azure pipelines, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps
Further Technical skills
- Experienced in designing and building cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines
- Capable of choosing the right data stores/data processing for the job (relational and non-relational stores, batch, and Real Time processing).
- Able to propose the right set of tools as per the needs expressed
- In-depth knowledge of data governance (data catalogs, metadata management, ...) and are able to guide in implementing them
- Non-Microsoft BI tools (SAP BI Platform, Qlik Sense, Data Virtualization)
- PowerShell and Cloud automation.
- Azure services and structure
- Network technologies and configuration
- Cloud management tools and are able to assist in choosing and implementing them
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code
- Docker and how to integrate it in Data Pipelines
