Network Engineer - Inverness
My client is a highly dynamic and successful IT Consultancy organisation with a strong presence across the UK
They currently have an opportunity for a Network engineer/Network Systems administrator to join them on a contract basis in Inverness.
The role will involve working as part of a client facing project where you will be involved in network an Firewall upgrade projects.
The successful candidate will have experience with:
- Supporting Switch, Router & wifi issues
- Work with ISP to troubleshoot, WAN, VSAT connectivity/configuration issues of offices & DATA-CENTER
- Support various Upgrade project of networking .ie Cisco SW, Router WIFI upgrades
- New VPN sites installation, WSS, Proxy migration
- Actively liaise with Firewall team for any security related issues, configure Paloalto/Junos.
- Monitors network performance (NetQOS, CASC, Tacasc, AAA) and implements performance
- Tuning (loadbalancing) when necessary
- Assist in implementation of new LFFN circuits
-Upgrade Network Appliances to latest version
