My prestigious client is looking for a Technical BSA to come and work with an existing friendly & collaborative team.

Key Accountabilities:
Ensure the continuing upgrade, enhancement, and improvement of business systems within the organisation.
Supporting the creation of Business Requirements, creation of highly specified system requirements and turning them into workable solutions in line with the delivery of the enhancements to the change portfolio.
Ensure that deadlines are met using good project practices and skills. As required, communicate project activities in a timely and efficient manner to the respective project team members and stakeholders.
Documentation of design and creation of knowledge base documentation and transfer as appropriate for project deliveries.
Liaise with external software service providers regarding the implementation of new application systems, portals and business analysis tools using procedures set down by my client.
Skills & Abilities:
Experience working in global teams
Experience of London Insurance Market technology initiatives, eg TOM, PPL, SDC
Experience in implementing application solutions in the following business areas:
Finance, Actuarial, Accounting
Delegated Underwriting Authority/Bordereaux Management
Risk Management, Data Quality
Price Rating, Exposure Management
Reserving, Reinsurance
Technical experience with:
SQL
Systems configuration & integration
Data analysis, transformation, & mapping
Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
ITIL Certification.
Professional Experience:
A solid experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in the insurance industry combined with a good understanding of underwriting, claims, finance and actuarial functions.
Strong communication skills, comfortable in dealing with end-users and senior stakeholders and ensuring business requirements are translated into effective solutions. Comfortably communicate with both technical and non-technical people at all levels.
Demonstrable experience with a range of systems and departments within an organisation.
A mixture of technical skills, with experience in the implementation and configuration of a range of software and databases.
