You MUST have the following:
- Good experience as a JavaScript Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer
- Strong Front End (Front End) development experience emphasis
- Agile
- CI/CD practices
- Activity to stay current with technology, whether through reading, meet-ups, blogs, home projects or contribution to open-source
The following would be DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) commercially or in home projects
- Experience in a Front Office trading or brokerage environment, whether in investment banking, asset management, investment management or with a hedge fund or familiarity with Fixed Income, FX, money markets, equities or commodities markets
- Back End development in Node/Java/Python
Role: JavaScript Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Developer React ReactJS React,JS Vue VueJS Angular AngularJS Angular.JS Angular-JS JavaScript Amazon Web Services GCP Azure AWS Angular Agile Architect Architecture Finance Fixed Income Bonds Credit Rates Derivatives FX Equities Asset Management Front Office Trading Investment Hedge Fund Front Office Brokerage Investment Banking Manager Contract Contractor) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a team of six spread over London and the US that are working on a new Front Office, trading analytics product. The Back End is Python and Java but you will be delivering the Front End in Angular- probably version 10. Any exposure to AWS or Front Office trading is highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a very forward-thinking technology department with an excellent budget for growth and modernisation. Future work will include the completion of the department's move to AWS and the introduction of AI and machine learning.
