DevOps Engineer - Banking
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a DevOps Engineer for one of their Banking Clients based in Cardiff.
3 months + extensions
PAYE or Umbrella only
- Knowledge of Jenkins and configuring/creating the automated build jobs
- Knowledge of Repositories like Git/bitbucket
- Automations tools such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible. These guys need guidance and someone who is expert in using these tools to script and automate
- Knowhow of Windows production Servers as prod env is hosted on Windows. This is important
- Knowledge about Powershell/bash as it is being used currently
- Configuring Security certificates/SSH
- Knowledge of cloud infra like Rackspace/AWS
- .NET would be an added advantage as product is written in .NET
1) TFS
2) Jenkins
3) Ansible
4) Shell Scripting
5) Git/Github
6) MS Technologies - SQL Server, .NET Core, IIS.
7) Dockers - Containers
8) Windows platform
9) Linux knowledge will be an added advantage
