Contract Assignment: Telephony Engineer
Day Rate: £500pd
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 month contract assignment
Location: Remote + Basingstoke
We are looking for a Telephony Engineers with excellent knowledge and experience in MS Teams & Active Directory to work remotely and on a client site to complete the assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Work on design, build, and testing of MS Teams/Audio Codes SBC architecture
- Lead site level deployment and migration activities in accordance with the MS Teams/Audio Codes SBC architecture
- Site Discovery
- Bill of Materials input
- Low Level Design
- Cutover activities
- Tier 3 Day 1 Support
- Become key player of project teams, collaborating with colleagues and clients to solve challenging business problems
- Digest high level designs and extract deliverables. Work closely with PM to deliver on goals set out in designs.
- Review and contribute to high level designs when required.
- Produce low level designs and other handover assets
Requirements/Qualifications
- Significant experience of voice services, including PBX Switch Administration and Management, Voice traffic management and profiling, Circuit Provisioning and Management, Tandem, ACD Systems, Call Logger, Call Logger Reporting, Trunk Management.
- Networking, LAN and WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching and load balancing principles.
- Network and telephony end to end troubleshooting skills.
- Competence around call center end user computer technologies including, VDI, mobile, messaging, and collaboration platforms such as Skype for business and their interface with telephony.
- Experience of working in a Global Infrastructure environment
- Experience of working in the financial services sector is an advantage.
