UI Developer - Banking - (Remote) - £400 per day
Opening for a UI Developer to work with a leading Banking client. You will be working on a Structured Products platform, using the latest technologies and methodologies.
You will be a senior UI developer within this agile team, interacting directly with Front Office users, contributing to the UI development using Angular and ngRx, offering strong technical designs and solutions to the overall platform as part of the regular delivery cycle.
If successful, this is a great opportunity for you to shape the future direction of the business as the client build the best in class a platform.
As a part of the role, you will also be responsible to both technically and functionally execute the deliverables in agile fashion. Your skill set will be deployed to maximize client impact and drive new revenue across the globe
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Proven experience developing medium to large size HTML5 application covering:
o TypeScript and JavaScript
o Angular2+,
o RxJS
o Redux (ngRx)
o Node
Proven Agile experience (preferably Scrum/Kanban)
Key Accountabilities
The role is 100% hands-on with 80% development and 20% support
You are expected to develop high quality maintainable code
Make technical decisions that require a strong understanding of the problem domain
Collaborate and communicate globally with other developers to build technical solutions
You are expected to have a strong knowledge of software development methods, tools and standards and actively keep this knowledge current (ie desire to learn)
Adhere to Policies & Standards appropriate to the role - outlined in the Code of Conduct and mandatory training.
You are expected to provide technical leadership, knowledge sharing and mentoring to junior members of the team
Whilst it's not essential. The ideal candidate will have experience providing support and resolving production issues along with prior experience building systems in a trading/banking organisation.
