C# Developer - Commodities Trading Platform 2 live positions!

  • C# (.Net 4.5 plus)
  • SQL Server
  • Business knowledge of Commodities financial instruments a plus
  • Experience with .NET core, micro-services, web technologies, CI, Consul, Redis, Octopus a plus
  • Front and Middle Office experience

ROLE:

Recruiting roles for the commodities platform team - this team take care of everything apart from electronic trading and regulatory, from UI to trade feed. Mainly involved with Front Office and middle, creating new applications and workflow for new projects. They are moving towards more API based approaches/Microservices architecture, fully automated, deployment chains.

The other positions is for the post trade team - as important as the other role and technically very exciting mirroring the tech aspirations (API etc) in the first role.

The successful candidate will join the London-based core development team serving the full pre-trade through accounting chain for Commodities Derivatives. We have a portfolio of projects covering enhancements to pricing, risk, market data, referential and booking functionality, and technical enhancements to reduce system complexity and increase scalability, performance and resilience.

  • To design and develop key pieces of functionality for the Commodities Derivatives Platform.
  • Ensure stability of the platform by ensuring releases are suitably tested and impacts are considered.
  • Ensure supportability of solutions
  • Follow the team procedures for release control, code review, deployment, source code management and architectural governance.
