Workday Programme Manager, Financial Services, post implementation changes
This role is offered inside IR35 and the rate advertised is via an umbrella company model.
My client is a leading Financial Services organisation and has embarked on a two-year transformation programme to enhance their core HCM system (Workday). Their requirement is for a Programme Manager within their technology function to manage this key strategic initiative. Working closely with senior stakeholders (business and technology) the Programme Manager will provide effective oversight of planning, financials, risks & isses, teams & resources as well as delivering successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead larger projects & programmes and be accountable for successful delivery
- Develop & manage programme plans including cutover and go/no go activities
- Manage senior stakeholders, lead working groups and ensure programme reporting & metrics are in place
- Manage project/programme budgets, forecasts and financial reporting
- Ensure that the overall plan is kept updated
- Ensure that project/programme activities are undertaken and completed per the agreed plan
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is completed as per defined standards
- Contribute to improvements in processes and support the wider team achieve improvement goals
- Provide guidance to project managers/leads and contribute continuous skill development
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Extensive experience of HR Transformation project and programme management
- Proven track record in successful delivery of projects and programmes of scale
- Workday expertise is essential - at least 3 to 5 years - especially the application of large scale post implementation changes
- PRINCE2/PMP or similar certification would be preferable
- Expert skills in MS Tools - Excel, Project etc.
- Proven ability to lead team of project managers, project leaders, and technical staff
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
