Description
An urgent role has arisen for an IT Support Engineer based in the Norwich area on a 3 month initial contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to two schools which consist of workstations made up of a combination of Windows PCs, tablets, notebooks and iPads.
Please note: Due to working in a School you will need to have a live EDBS certificate. Candidate without this will NOT be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertake maintenance of IT hardware
- Assist in the management of each school's wireless network
- Assist with the management of classroom management software
- Assist with the administration and support of the G-Suite for Edu cloud-based products
- Contribute to the school's IT development plan to ensure effective and timely implementation within allocated areas of responsibility
- Service desk support
- Maintain access for information systems used in the schools
- Liaise with partners and suppliers of the school on IT related issues
- Assist with the technical upgrade, implementation and training for systems used within the schools
- Be responsible for maintaining the school's audio-visual systems
- Assistance to staff and students using IT Including software support
- Setting up of equipment for the delivery of the curriculum
- Problem solve and troubleshoot issues on staff and students computers such as software, hardware, configuration and user errors
Skills Required:
- SIMS experience
- G-Suite for education Apps
- Hardware installation experience (PC, Tablets and Printers)
- VOIP
- Desktop Support
- Windows 10
- IOS support
