Description

An urgent role has arisen for an IT Support Engineer based in the Norwich area on a 3 month initial contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to two schools which consist of workstations made up of a combination of Windows PCs, tablets, notebooks and iPads.

Please note: Due to working in a School you will need to have a live EDBS certificate. Candidate without this will NOT be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake maintenance of IT hardware
  • Assist in the management of each school's wireless network
  • Assist with the management of classroom management software
  • Assist with the administration and support of the G-Suite for Edu cloud-based products
  • Contribute to the school's IT development plan to ensure effective and timely implementation within allocated areas of responsibility
  • Service desk support
  • Maintain access for information systems used in the schools
  • Liaise with partners and suppliers of the school on IT related issues
  • Assist with the technical upgrade, implementation and training for systems used within the schools
  • Be responsible for maintaining the school's audio-visual systems
  • Assistance to staff and students using IT Including software support
  • Setting up of equipment for the delivery of the curriculum
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot issues on staff and students computers such as software, hardware, configuration and user errors

Skills Required:

  • SIMS experience
  • G-Suite for education Apps
  • Hardware installation experience (PC, Tablets and Printers)
  • VOIP
  • Desktop Support
  • Windows 10
  • IOS support
