Database Developer (Birt reports)

€450 per day
12-month ongoing contract
My Client are a global leading Institute and are looking for a fluent English-speaking Database Developers to join their ongoing project in Brussels. You will be integrated in the team where you will work closely with the IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Design BIRT reports, write and optimize associated SQL queries
- Design User interface screens based on graphical studios (toolbox) and JavaScript
- Analyse and implement new functionalities
- Apply corrective maintenance to existing systems
- Deploy new releases in different environments
- Analyse, implement and maintain the database model
- Write tests and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Maximum 15 years of combined academic and professional experience in IT
- Maximum 11 years of IT professional experience designing reports, writing associated SQL queries
- Good knowledge of BIRT - minimum 6 months or any other Java related reporting tools
- Minimum 1 year of experience in JavaScript and associated frameworks (Angular, Node, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Java
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
