Backup Administrator - IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
A well known global business is currently looking for a Backup Administrator to join their team on a long term contract basis.
Working primarily with Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), the successful Backup Consultant will be tasked with performing TSM back administration and day to day support activities, as well as troubleshooting level 3 backup tasks relating to TSM in a customer environment. You will be comfortable coordinating with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues, as well as any other reasonable Backup related duties.
The successful Backup Administrator will need to have experience in the installation and configuration of TSM Servers, as well as the design, maintenance and troubleshooting of backup schedules in TSM. You will have good knowledge in handling tape libraries and VTLs, and experience in reporting backup trends and performance fine tuning in TSM.
Experience in installing and configuring Veeam Backup and replication Servers would be highly advantageous.
This role is based in Krakow, however due to the COVID19 pandemic candidates looking for 100% remote working are welcome.
