Description

One of Badenoch and Clark's key clients is currently looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst for the SCCM/Security arm of the service desk for an initial period of 3 months.

The Senior Service Desk Technician (Security/SCCM) will work as part of the SCCM/Security arm of Service Desk to provide day to day support of all security activities such a daily monitoring of security systems, pro-active management of CareCert alerts/bulletins and reacting to Security related Service Desk calls. Will be expected to partake in SCCM development and monitoring.

The Senior Service Desk Technician (SCCM/Security) will be responsible for supporting the SCCM/Security Lead which may involve workstreams around SCCM and Security with a view to merging the two areas. Work will encompass day-to-day support and monitoring of all Windows Updates, Feature Updates, client applications, fileservers, office systems, email, clinical systems, client software/configuration, Desktop and Trust wide IT Security and input to the Standard Operation Environment (SoE)

The post holder will support the smooth and timely delivery of all areas of IT Service Management Support as defined by the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in accordance with ITIL guidelines.

To be considered for the role, you will need the following:

*Educated to Degree level in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Information Systems or equivalent experience or competencies.
*One years' experience in a relevant IT/Security role.
*Hands on experience of using SCCM in an Enterprise environment
*Significant practical experience and knowledge of IT systems, network configuration, major applications and desktop support, eg Microsoft Office/email.
*SQL DBA knowledge/experience
*WMI/SQL (WQL) language experience
*Office 365 Security
*Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Security (Defender, ATP and other associated).
*Demonstrable knowledge of MS SCCM.
*Comprehensive understanding of the Windows 10 Road Map.
*Demonstrable knowledge of Sophos and other AV applications.
*Significant experience of customer care and or user support.
*One-year experience of supporting a security function within an IT environment.
*Experience of report writing and presentation
*Experience in a senior position where you will have been working on implementing change requests, small projects, led team meetings.
