The role
Lead focal point in design, documentation, development, integration, testing and release of enhancements to, and maintenance of the current system network. Integral to design and implementation of networking technologies including Firewalls, VOIP, ROIP QoS, F5 Load balancers (local & global), MailMarshal & SWG (to allow Office 2010 traffic through CVS function), Apache/Linux configurations
Data Leak Prevention, New interfaces to external communities for operational usage (msg & web).
Primary task is the development and maintenance of the programme, new project and existing deliveries. Working as part of a large multi-disciplined development team. Individual and collaborative work will be required.
Essential Skills
Hands on experience of Cisco Routers and Switches
Network and OS security. Good understanding of configuration of OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, LAPB, PPP, Multicast, STP, GRE, NAT, Access lists, QOS etc. DNS server. Remote Network Access. IP address schema design and assignment. OSPF routing protocol. Layer 3 networking. Firewall configuration - Cyberguard, Sidewinders, Cisco ASA, McAfee Enterprise Firewalls. VOIP. ROIP. Generic design and build experience. Development in Clear Case environment. Defect tracking/maintenance in Clearquest environment.
Desirable Skills
IP Cryptos - DC2k, DCAP, ED20.
Awareness of JSP 440. Experience of multiple development stream source control configuration systems. Team worker is high pressure environment. CCNA/CCNP certified or above. M86 MailMarshall, M86 SWG. Good working knowledge of Linux, UNIX and Windows technologies. Broad knowledge of industry products.
