Max of £750 Umbrella per day

The Role

The Equities Portfolio Trading (PT) Technology Team works closely with the Global Equities Business and provides a suite of applications that cover analytics, sales and trading.

We have an opening on the development team within PT Technology to work across a number of key deliveries to advance the automation of the Equities business. The role will focus on workflow enhancements to enable greater automation, as well as expand our offerings to clients.

Responsibilities

The development team work directly with business users and take full responsibility for delivering change from requirement gathering to production release. Good communication skills are key, and team members must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider regional and global teams.

As this is a strategic platform, so we are looking for people who can design clean, simple solutions that fit or improve existing patterns and will stand the test of time.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience of Order Management, Analytics or Trading Workflow Systems
  • Strong Java development on Linux
  • Equities FX, Risk background
  • Algo Trading Experience is desirable,
  • Multi-threading
  • Experience in an agile team
  • Desire to learn and master new approaches, as well as contribute to the improvement of the platform
