Digital Project Manager, Liferay Upgrade - 3-month Contract - Rome/Remote
We're looking for a Digital Project Manager to work with a specialist agency of the United Nations based in Rome, to oversee the upgrade of Liferay - our clients corporate CMS - to its newest version.
The initial contract will run until the end of December, starting in October. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution and reporting of the upgrade/migration project.
Key Functions and Deliverables:
- Provide the vision and oversight required to deliver desired project requirements In conjunction with technical and business resources available
- Coordinate and work with ICT in all aspects of the corporate CMS upgrade
- Provides recommendations for improvements, particularly as it concerns information architecture and SEO, in line with best practices
- Review/modify Liferay templates as needed
- Oversee the execution of the work throughout all stages
- Maintain and provide regular project reports and status updates
- Ensure all products meet minimum standards of quality
- Coordinate the test, debug, QA, as required
- Ensure sufficient training for end-users if required
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- Build a comprehensive project plan in collaboration with ICT
Candidates must have a proven track record in Project Management, specifically in the creation of websites within an enterprise-level ecosystem and international working experience or being involved in multi-country projects is very desirable.
(Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.)
Remote options available, bonus points available however to those willing to travel to Rome if/when required.
