Big Data Infrastructure Architect
Location under NDA
£700 per day for an initial 6 months (extensions likely)
We are working with a UK Consultancy undertaking a large scale Data Re-platform Programme. The Programme now needs a Infrastructure Architect with big Data experience (ideally Cloudera or Nutanix)
The ideal candidate will need to show a background of designing and delivering large-scale Hyper-converged solutions using at least one or 2 of the following: Dell, Nutanix, NetApp or Cisco.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of how to get the best out of the hardware to run Cloudera nodes
- Strong Infrastructure Architecture background
- Extensive experience in designing Hyper-converged Infrastructure architectures (Nutanix)
- Big Data experience (specifically Cloudera)
- Impact assessment experience to understand how this will affect data warehousing storage in data centres
In return the client will offer a day rate of £700 for an initial 6 months.
