Description
Outsource UK are currently seeking a Lead Application and Installation Engineer for 12 month contract based in Peterborough for £30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Working with Diesel engines and acting as an interface for engineering teams and customer machine engineering teams
- Ensuring the engine is correctly installed into new machine programs before serial production which is currently going through a new development phase
- Governing guidance and ensuring the machine engineers are performing to installation and issues that arise from
- Working alongside the machine engineering team all requirements are met to installation of the engines
- Regulating and technical requirements make sure everything is correctly installed and minimise risks
- Interfacing with global clients in North America and china
- Act as a Communicator between each division from installation perspective, issue management and resolution
- Manage a validation team plan and work and ensure the engine installed is signed off ready for production
- Travelling may be required to China/America
- Expected to understand their engines and product range
- Own the technical relationship between engine division and internal divisions
Skills
- Strong Engines experience/Degree in Engineering and Automotive
- Engine performance knowledge, field testing, diesel engines.
- Excellent communication, proactive and act as a Senior lead to resolve issues
- Work across multiple levels across the organisation
- Working with senior people and stakeholders
- Good time management and manage different cultures due to it been a global role interfaces
