To provide configuration, implementation, and support of the current and future on-premises and cloud data platform technologies in use by the business.
Covering SQL Server, Oracle, and associated underlying infrastructure technologies including Windows Server, virtualization, and storage.
The Database Engineer is responsible for operational support of a heterogeneous Data Platform environment that comprises primarily of SQL Server and Oracle on Windows Server. Additionally, there will be responsible for the availability, reliability, and performance of the data platform in line with the needs of the business.

- SQL Server relational database management software
- Oracle relational database management software
- Windows Server
- VMware virtualization
- Automation of administrative activities to minimise effort and improve reliability with PowerShell & T-SQL.
