Senior Software Engineer - Contract Vacancy - Remote
My client are a leading worldwide data supplier to a multi-billion pound industry.
In future they plan to integrate additional sources of data to boost accuracy, as well as introduce predictive analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
You will be joining a small Data Quality team created for a project centred around enhancements: refining the monitoring of system failures and seizing gaps in data content.
Necessary skills:
- Expertise with HTML, DHTML, CSS3, JS ES6
- 2+ years minimum commercial experience with React & jQuery
- Experience with Google Maps API/MapBox
- Working knowledge of Java SE/EEE/RESTful JSON APIs
- Unit Testing (Jest/Junit/Nunit)
Bonus skills:
- Jira/Confluence
- BDD - Specflow, feature tests
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Azure DevOps
- Mentoring experience is required
