Windows 10 Deployment Engineer - Preston - 1 month rolling
An opportunity has arisen for a Windows 10 Deployment Engineer on a 1 month rolling contract. You will be working on a project to migrate Windows 7 to Windows 10 on a single site.
You will be responsible for implementing the new image on each device, data transfer from old to new devices, updating records and running this project with a number of project engineers.
Key tasks/Deliverables:
- The new equipment needs to be asset tagged and registered in an Asset Register, and the imaged with a specific Win10 build.
- Appropriate software needs to be installed.
- Appointments will need to be scheduled with the end users and their new hardware needs to be set-up using users supplied username & password.
- At scheduled time, hardware needs to be swapped over, and checked through with user.
- Old hardware needs to be recovered and Asset register updated accordingly, then needs to be prepared for disposal.
- BAU Support for end users.
- Deployment and support on the complete windows 10 product an features.
