Description
Harvey Nash's financial services client are currently looking for an IT Technical Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh (working from home for now). You will be responsible for interpreting technical requirements to ensure that they are translated into an agreed solution.
This is a wide ranging analysis and project support role Embedded within a migration team who have responsibilities for migrating bank applications/services to datacentre and cloud platforms.
Main Duties:
- Supporting key decisions and articulating project scope to stakeholders to help shape and drive the project forward
- Influencing and communicating effectively with key stakeholders to produce analysis and design deliverables
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to identify, evaluate and recommend business and technology solutions.
- Ensuring business requirements translate into an agreed delivery solution
- Problem solving and triaging project defects and production incidents
Essential Skills:
- Running analysis workshops and documenting requirements
- Experience of working on projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience of working in financial services
- Strong ServiceNow experience with good understanding of the Change Management Database (CMDB)
- Strong excel, discovery and mapping experience
This role is a 12 month contract which will be based in Edinburgh once the risk of Covid-19 infection is minimised or completely eliminated. The rate on offer is between £350-£450/day. Please click the link to apply.
