Description
People Source Consulting have an exciting role for a Cost Modeller for a 6 month contract.
They are based in Corsham but happy for the person to work remotely.
About you;
Cost Modeller:
1.You will have demonstrable experience in advanced excel skills.
2.Experience in financial planning, estimating and cost modelling.
3.An ability to analyse a range of complex information and figures and able to provide clear and well justified recommendations/decisions.
4.Leadership and interpersonal skills.
You will be part qualified in a CCAB (or equivalent) qualification. Specifically to have achieved:
CIMA - Management level (and be awarded CIMA Adv Dip MA)
ACCA - Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills levels
CIPFA - Professional Diploma
ACA - Professional level
About the role -
a. Complete financial modelling requirements in line with best modelling practices and department requirements, including model design and delivery.
b. Delivery of cost models to support exiting services including updating the transparency model as services exit or Requests for Change (RFCs) are contractually let.
c. Maintain and update the profit rebalancing model to ensure that the Authority complies with the relevant contractual clauses.
d. Scenario modelling to support changes to exit dates and the production of costed impact statements.
e. Assisting in the preparation of forecasts to inform the PCR and FOO process for teams across Defence Digital.
f. Advice on financial reporting and accounting standards.
g. Support to Project Teams on VfM decision making.
