Cash Correspondent/Network Manager

5 Month Initial Contract

Manchester (Remote)

Open assignment within the Global Network Management team focused on the governance and oversight of external 3rd party cash only correspondent banks.
The successful candidate will be required to perform initial and on-going due-diligence activities upon a global network of up to 130 cash correspondent bank providers.
Our client has served UK customers for over 50 years with their financial needs. Their services include asset servicing, asset management, private equity and hedge fund administration, broker-dealer services, depositary receipts, corporate trust and treasury services.

Duties will include

  • The review of completed due-diligence questionnaires received from cash correspondent banks and to assess and validate the responses for accuracy and completeness.
  • Escalation and challenge of any incomplete, inaccurate or sub-optimal responses to senior colleagues for further review and diligence.
  • Validation checks to ensure that appropriate legal documentation, commercial arrangements and account inventory remains up to date and accurate on internal systems and documentation repositories.
  • Document all findings into a due-diligence findings report for each cash correspondent bank

Experience and skills required

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software.
  • Must a be a team player and make extensive contributions to the overall success of the team
  • Ability to work remotely, both as part of a team and individually.
  • Ability to foster new relationships and work collaboratively with others.
  • Proven organisational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of operational risk and compliance functions.

Desired

  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Several years of work experience within Financial Services is preferred.
  • Experience in cash/securities processing is preferred.
  • Understanding of client asset safety regimes in Europe would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of data architecture and the production of Management Information would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Third Party Governance and/or Vendor Management would be beneficial.
