Python Developer
Our client within the telecoms sector are currently recruiting for Python Developer with AWS experience to join the team in London.
Role:
This role is for a senior software developer within the cloud platforms development team. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based media solutions. The developer should be experienced in building secure, well tested RESTful solutions using Python (ideally with experience using Django/Flask or similar), in technologies used for cloud-based deployments (CI/CD pipelines, Serverless, Docker containers etc.) and deploying services on AWS.
Experience:
- Strong background in Python (3.6+)
- Experience of architecting/developing for security, scale and resilience
- Strong RDBMS skills, especially with regards to database design and tuning (MySQL/MariaDB preferred)
- Writing well tested (unit and functional) code using SOLID/DRY principals
- Knowledge of AWS lambda and API gateway would be advantageous
- Experience with test driven development
- Familiarity with AWS Media services like MediaLive and MediaConnect would be helpful
